The Workers' Occupational Health Centre

The Workers’ Occupational Health Centre (WOHC) is an organisation that provides clinical services for injured, ill or distressed workers.

WOHC employs highly skilled and experienced Consultant Occupational Physicians who offer quality care and support services to injured and ill workers.

WOHC provides on-site preventitive health programs and occupational health surveillance programs.

Our Philosophy

WOHC is committed to providing readily accessible medical treatment and advice to patients. We believe every worker has the right to a healthy and safe working environment. Our Occupational Physicians are dedicated to preventing workplace injury and illness.

Referral Procedures

Referrals to WOHC are welcome and can be received from individual workers, unions, general practitioners, employers, solicitors, and health and welfare organisations.

Patient Rights

We are committed to providing quality health care, and helping you to understand the nature of your illness and any risks to your health.

Our primary obligation is to you, the patient. We assure you that your medical care will be handled with compassion, and strict confidence.

Your records will not be released outside the clinic without your written authorisation.

Consultations do not attract out of pocket expenses. GST does not apply to medical treatment. Depending on the situation the account goes to Medicare (Bulk Billing), WorkCover or the Employer.

Opening Hours

We are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 1 pm and 2:20 pm to 5 pm
Appointments are necessary, and after hours consultations may be organised if needed.
